Yasamin Kosh
Chair
Yasamin Khosh is a first-generation American student at Florida State University, where she is in her third year studying Political Science and Media Communications. Since her first semester on campus, she has been actively involved in the FSU Student Foundation, serving in multiple leadership roles, including Director of Programming, Vice-Chair, and now Chair.

Over the years, Yasamin has played a key role in supporting beneficiaries such as the Marching Chiefs, the Flying High Circus, and the Food for Thought Pantry. She has also spearheaded and contributed to major initiatives, including the Philanthropy Banquet, The Great Give, Strozier Lock-In, Philanthropy 101 Panel, and the overall development of the Student Foundation.
Outside of the Student Foundation, Yasamin is actively involved in several leadership roles on campus. She is the founder of Women’s Progress, an organization dedicated to advancing women’s success at Florida State University. She also serves as the Director of Federal Affairs for the Office of Governmental Affairs and as the Vice President of Garnet & Gold Key.
Beyond campus, Yasamin has gained extensive experience in government and public affairs. She has interned for the Florida Legislature during the past two legislative sessions, completed two congressional internships, and currently works for former Foundation trust
Alyssa Yon
Vice Chair
Alyssa Yon is a third-year first-generation college student and QUEST Scholar at Florida State University, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Political Science. She began her involvement with the FSU Student Foundation in her sophomore year on the Fundraising Team, later serving as the Director of Finance before becoming Vice Chair.

During her time in the Student Foundation, she played a key role in supporting the organization’s most recent beneficiary, the FSU Marching Chiefs, overseeing the Fundraising Team and providing strategic guidance and mentorship to help them reach new fundraising heights during the Great Give. Under her direction, the team surpassed previous goals, achieving an increase in both the team’s participation and donations.
Outside of the Student Foundation, she continues to advocate for her community through her work on the executive board of Relay For Life at FSU, supporting refugee resettlement with the International Rescue Committee, and interning for the 2025 Legislative Session with the office of Representative Allison Tant.
