Totika
Totika Philanthropy and Service Showcase is an opportunity for campus organizations and individuals who are committed to philanthropy and service that benefit our university and Tallahassee Community to be recognized by the Student Foundation, in partnership with the Office of Servant Leadership and Student Alumni Association. Meaning “fire†in the Seminole Language, Totika was chosen as the commemorative name of the showcase to highlight the passion that students and groups have toward bettering Florida State and supporting noteworthy causes. Our goal through this ceremony is to ensure that those who work to raise funds and commit acts of service are celebrated for their commitment to our community.
Each organization is allowed to apply to be awarded for the philanthropic event and/or service projects that were completed during the 2015 calendar year. A maximum of three philanthropic events and three service projects can be submitted for each organization. Organizations do not have to submit both a philanthropic event and service project. Upon receipt of all applications, a board of reviewers will select winners amongst three categories. Organizations are separated into categories for scoring based on number of active participants.
Spark is the small category for organizations with a maximum of 25 members.
Ember is the medium category for organizations with a maximum of 75 members.
Flame is the large category for organizations with more than 75 members.
All applicants will be invited to attend our showcase on Friday, April 15, 2016 at the Alumni Association banquet hall for a plated dinner. We look forward to seeing the amazing work you've done in our community throughout your application.
