Title Chair Yasamin Khosh is a first-generation American student at Florida State University, where she is in her third year studying Political Science and Media Communications. Since her first semester on campus, she has been actively involved in the FSU Student Foundation, serving in multiple leadership roles, including Director of Programming, Vice-Chair, and now Chair. Over the years, Yasamin has played a key role in supporting beneficiaries such as the Marching Chiefs, the Flying High Circus, and the Food for Thought Pantry. She has also spearheaded and contributed to major initiatives, including the Philanthropy Banquet, The Great Give, Strozier Lock-In, Philanthropy 101 Panel, and the overall development of the Student Foundation. Outside of the Student Foundation, Yasamin is actively involved in several leadership roles on campus. She is the founder of Women’s Progress, an organization dedicated to advancing women’s success at Florida State University. She also serves as the Director of Federal Affairs for the Office of Governmental Affairs and as the Vice President of Garnet & Gold Key. Beyond campus, Yasamin has gained extensive experience in government and public affairs. She has interned for the Florida Legislature during the past two legislative sessions, completed two congressional internships, and currently works for former Foundation trustee Sean Pittman. Most recently, she was named a John Lewis Scholar, one of only seven selected nationwide.
